Hi list. Does anybody know a good place to get a cracked Powerbook screen replaced. Boo hoo!

I can't help you with a place on that side of the pond but I will tell you that I fixed my own with parts bought of eBay. This was for a G3 PowerBook. I bought a used screen (the whole top half of the PowerBook including the hinge) in good condition for about $150 and a complete service manual for $10. Took about an hour or so fiddling with lots of tiny screws and connectors but the result works like a charm. It wasn't really very difficult with the right instructions.
