Hi Glyn
I've spoken to several other photographers about this "problem" and I've
come to the conclusion (maybe quite wrongly) that file info and keywording
is not such an important part of their workflow as it is of mine. I have
large captions, sometimes running to 15 lines or more plus a 4 line part
caption that is placed on every photo, plus upto a 100 keywords. In p/shop
5.5. this was an easy and clearly workable task, the box for captions
allowed you to see maybe 6 or 7 lines of text and the keywords were added
one above the other in a list. Now in Cs the caption box is maybe 2 or 3
lines in depth and the keywords are seperated by a semi-colon. Its almost
impossible to read. I have written to Adobe to ask why. As yet no reply. As
I said, I feel that the text part of p/shop has been downgraded without
thought. I have had replies suggesting that I caption in another programme
and paste across but with a mountain of pix and an already zero social life
I do not want any extra work.

I have decided to run a G4 in OS9.2.2 and p/shop 5.5 and caption in that,
then move the pix across into OSX. Sometimes I feel that progress maybe
going in the wrong direction.....

If anybody has any suggestions I'm open to offers.
