Just go ahead. It will alleviate your life for good. Check versiontracker.com for a new recent add on( for OSX) that lets you add some sort of "sticker' to speciific files you want to remark for whatever reason. Also ,don't forget to download the free iView Reader app, that you can freely distribute among your clients ( or add to the CD's you are delivering) so they can read your catalogs directly from your CD's.
