I am trying to compare (with a view to purchase) the new D70 with the Sigma<www.steves-digicams.com> has samples from the Sigma SD 10 but not the D70 yet he has a few negative comments about the SD 10 on the conclusions page. If your not familier with Steves's page, it's a great reference for digital cameras. He posts full size sample shots that are similar from camera to camera.
