Absolutely, Keith - it's where a Fuji S2 (just to throw in a digital reference) falls down, since it looks like an amateur item (unless linked to a laptop). By contrast, a Fuji 680 on a big Gitzo knocks 'em dead, I mean, they really know you're a pro with such a big ugly camera...that cost half what I paid for my S2, incidentally. If people are sufficiently unwise as to confuse equipment with professional skills, let them.
