Hi there, I am having the following problem with my 1290 (1270/80 in other countries)
A studio portrait image shot quite normally is printing with a posterised effect. The skin tones are bright purple, the shadows are light blue but the black hair is ok.. Printing balck. The background in stead of being a muddy brown is printing as a pale green... I am also getting horizontal lines. (these are regularly spaced, and resemble very early color inkjet low res printers) I have done the following: -nozzle check and clean -new ink cartridges -print from different machine -reinstall drivers -try different profile -test with alternate image file (getting the same result) I am using Mac OSX 10.3 / PS7 / Epson 1290 / Matte double sided / Epson ink To me this feels like an internal electrical problem with the printer... Any suggestions gratefully received.
