Try WINDOW>WORKSPACE>RESET PALETTE LOCATIONS
Yes, I have tried that. Unfortunately it doesn't effect the position of the dialog boxes. Perhaps I need to open all the dialog boxes on my large monitor and make sure they're centrally placed and then copy the preferences over again to the Powerbook.
