My Epson 1290 has just started to cover the ends of the white plastic bits in between the rollers with black ink, and as a result is producing black lines along all prints as the ink is transferred onto the rollers. This happened to my last Epson aswell, and needless to say they're both about 2 weeks outside warranty.
Is there a cure for this rather than bin yet another printer? (Epson tech help about as much use as a chocolate teapot). Replies off-list please.
