I thought the ipod plus Belkin thing had turned out to be bulky and VERY slow. I love my ipod too, but it didn't look too terrific for storage from CF cards. On paper the Nikon coolwalker looks like a nice piece of kit, has anyone used one yet?

Hi David
You're right, there are sure to be better set ups rather than the ipod for transferring from a CF-card. If you have a pod already, it can still earn it's keep while saving yet another load of cash on the never ending digital spending spree. For example, I don't use a card reader myself as I take a laptop on location. Where I need an external portable drive is if I'm flying, I'll back up to the ipod in a few minutes (firewire and much faster than burning cd's) and stash that in the hold luggage or anywhere away from me and the laptop.
