I bought an 20 Gb X drive and I use it for one year now.
It copied only a few pictures from both Flash and Microdrive, as I didn't tested it before leaving I lost many pictures. It came back repaired from the seller three months later.
I haven't been successful to download more than 2 GB when the drive is powered by the battery.
In the bag, the power button switch on and when I need it the battery is exhausted, I think the newest models have a better designed power button, otherwise an advice had been posted here to stick on a circular gasket to protect it.
I also find the USB connection not suitable, (i.e. I got more and more difficulties to mount the drive on my laptop).
In an overall I don't recommend the purchase.
