I had this on an even larger batch of images - fortunately in was off-centre
and in the background for most of the pics. When I was re-sizing for proofs
I recorded an action removing it using the healing patch tool, and ran it on
automate - no-one noticed it! When I came to the final prints I naturally
cloned each of the required prints individually. It doesn't matter whether
its landscape or upright , the hair is always in exactly the same place,
and in most cases the healing patch takes care of the background (to proof
standard).
