"Does anyone have any experience with shooting Infra Red on a Fuji S2 ?"

I have just done some with a D100. I got a Hoya R72 filter from Speedgraphic
to fit my Nikon 24mm f2.8 (52mm thread). I got some fantastic results, you
can try other filters (I think in the Wratten 89 or 87 series).

Exposure was a bit of trial and error (but with the histogram, it's easy).
In bright sunlight I found optimum exposure was between 1-3 seconds at f8.
This was according to the histogram. I bracketed each shot, one stop under
and one stop over.

However, when I got the pictures into PS and started looking at the
channels, the red was full of blown highlight. There were none showing on
the camera. Maybe someone can explain this?

I have yet to take any more, but when I do I will expose at 1/4, 1/2 and 1
second at f8. The picture I did take at 1/2 a second is by far the best for
getting a good "IR" image as all the channels are useable (shame the picture
itself was not up to much :o)).

I can't put my hand on the exact URL at the moment, but do a google on
"cocam" (it may be cocam.co.uk).

Hope this helps.
