Hi there

Hope you can help me here after a melt down past week or so and in my
attempts to not let it happen again.

Everything running 10.3.3 networked together & I'm the only user.

A G4 laptop - for general stuff (accounts & all that nonsense +ps/cs for
when on location)

G4 desktop - for ps/cs and folio stuff.

What I'm trying to do is mirror both computers. Backing up onto an external
200gb H.D - which is obviously larger than I need for my humble files. (all
images etc are burnt to cd anyway). After some advice & reading various
comments on this list it seems Norton is not the way to go for fault
finding/repairing on OSX so I'm using TechTool Pro 4 and can't find an
answer to this either in the manual or on their website, so perhaps someone
here can help.

Installed TechTool on both computers. Done all the run throughs ..
everything fine (at last) and want to set up the 'e-drive (s?)' on the
external.

I have 200gb here:

What I think I should do except I'm not sure is:-

Partition it into 3: 1 for the desktop G4 back up about 10gb, another 10gb
for the laptop back up and use the remaining 180 as scratch for p/s-c/s.

Any answers before I stuff it all up again??

Many thanks.

David Preutz
