I've been told by a contact at Calumet that Kodak has just released some research that showed that the failure rates of DVD's over time is likely to be related (in part) to the speed with which they were burned. Apparently they are recommending 1x speed as the only safe speed to burn at for long term storage. Is this true? Martin, any input?
