How long is a bit of string...how 'good' is a PDF file? Deep questions. I hope the PDF is as pristine as the data which it was made from (no resampling or lossy compression, security etc). There is a section in Acrobat Reader (file/file info or whatever) which will display the creator application of the PDF. >> Mac 10.3.3: Epson 2100 with CIS using fotonics: << I hope that this is not a weird OSX thing... >> Send the ad to print - best spec & all that << >From what application is the PDF file being printed??? Is the PDF imported/placed into some software? Are you printing from Acrobat Reader? PostScript or Image setting? Are you printing from Photoshop (if this is a Photoshop PDF and not another type of PDF)? Are you printing from some Apple software etc? >> Comes out looking like a very groovy 60's album cover, lith printed by Warhol after one too many tabs of acid. What about opening/rasterizing into Photoshop to see (but what resolution are the images in the PDF file so that you can rasterize to an appropriate resolution without inventing needless pixels)?
