Bjorn,

I try to help anyone who asks, you make a friend and if they do well and
decide they do not want to do every job they are offered............... A
photographer friend who was helping me years ago gave me some excellent
advice about how one could make a nice living by doing jobs that other
photographers no longer wanted to do.

Some times, "no good deed goes unpunished," but life is too short to worry
about it.

At this point in the game, if you help him he may return the favor, if you
do not, he will never forget it.

Even if he is a friend, this is business, and I would see no problem with
charging a fair price for your knowledge.

As far as not having or knowing about an instruction book on retouching,
please look at Katrin Eismann's excellent books.
