Hi Richard - it can, one has always had the option for setting the global interpolation method...found under general prefs. It is just handy that the image size command offers this, while transfrom does not...Perhaps a menu selection option on the free transform options bar in the next release? Let Adobe know if you want it!!! If changing the safe 'middle road' bicubic option to another method for some temporary work, then perhaps remember to set it back again afterwards or set-up actions for easy access to this preference change etc. >> When I'm resizing images to fit several onto a new A3 document, for example, I use the Transform command. Does anyone know how this works, or, unlikely as it is, whether 'bicubic sharper' can be set as the method of reducing images using this method? << See above. I would perhaps test with each original if deviating from standard bicubic...during the beta I noticed some over intensity on the light halo side of the sharpen in the method when used with some high contrast originals...but this may not be as much as an issue in the final...I don't really know. There are so many ways to resize images...up and down...even blending together different methods in different areas etc. Stephen Marsh. =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
