Dear All I'm having a real problem with C1 SE 3.5 quitting unexpectedly especially when batch processing. Every time I take my eyes of it it quits. I've run Diskwarrior, rebuilt permissions, run fsck etc. the previous version was a little prone to this but nowhere near as much as 3.5.
System Mac OS X 10.2.8 G4 1.25Ghz DP 1.5Gb Ram 4 x Int drives. Main HD partitioned but with 3.5Gb space available. Problem occurs when batch processing small numbers of files ie 25-30 and when hitting the limit of 100. I very rarely experienced this problem with the various early trial versions of C1DSLR. It's great that it resumes the queue on restart but such a pain that it quits so randomly. I thought it was associated with Energy Saver prefs and screen effects- now set to never and 60mins(long enough to process 100 files). Any help would be great. On an entirely separate matter I would like to thank all those who have contributed to the Data Rescue threads in the past. After abusing a CF Card and making it unreadable for the first time ever I downloaded Photorescue and recovered the contents undamaged with 16 bit available. A potentially life shortening experience resolved with damage only to my cavalier methods. I will never try to quit C1 as a CF card is loading ever again. Whatever the pressures! Without the generous help from this list I would have spent much time researching data rescue and rushed off to expensive help wherever it could be found.
