The fuji raw converter EX that comes with the hyperutility software gives really good results but it is very slow and extremely clunky (I'm on macs with OSX, it may be easier on windows).
I agree entirely with Rob Wilkinson's assessment - and it's just as "clunky" on a fast Windows XP machine with plenty of RAM... The EX software (not to be confused with the el-cheapo item provided with UK-sourced S2s) can be very annoying, not only for its sluggishness but because it interferes with other software I find. But it produces good results that IMO are better, on the whole, than those produced from the same S2 RAW files using ACR in PS7. This thread has, however, provoked fresh interest in C1, which I shall look at again.
