Hi Michael,
just my tuppence worth.  I have profiled abt half a dozen 2100's without having used 
the grey balancer, and have found the results to be excellnt

BUT, does the Epson 2100 truly benefit from using the grey balancer before
custom profiling?

Bear in mind that the Epson 2100 (Epson 2200 in the USA) does not ship with
this feature in the US.

Is the information created by the Grey balancer software saved to the
printer in EPROM so that it can be utilised using custom profiles?

What do you recommend to your customers when profiling an Epson 2100 / 2200?

It would be nice to nail the lid shut on the Grey balancer argument once and
for all.
