I think thats a fair representation of the issues attending succesful use
of the SLR/n/c

I did a heck of a lot of research, tried shooting at f22 to take advantage
of diffraction softening... and the rest. In the end I decided it wasn't
for me... at least not right now... despite its excellent output in many
cases.

My main point is that the press for this camera is, in my view, tending to
skim over what some may still find to be pretty irritating
characteristics. And it needs to be said this is directly relevant to the
question asked "is the camera as good as it appears."

By the way. Purchases from Calumet made online or by telephone allow a 14
day return policy. Something I found was useful in this instance.
