The preferred favourite seems to be DVD -R, and with a G5 you will have at least a 4x burner.
So either:
a) bung in a DVD, name the disc, copy the files till you have about 4.3GB. Then click burn. Err That's it!
b) or because this does take a while to copy then burn, use Roxio Toast Titanium - which enables you to fill a folder - drag the folder icon to the Toast window and burn.

It is as simple as burning a CD - but bigger!

Some have said it is better to burn at 1x speed, but I have found no problems with 4x. I use Panasonic media from PC World which is fine (and they have the thin cases - which I prefer). I haven't tried any 8x media yet (I have an 8x burner).

Places such as http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/ are good, and others were mentioned on the list the yesterday.

Hope this helps

Can anybody either post an idiots guide to backing up image files on to a
