Hey folks-- I'm tremendously overdue in introducing myself. I'm John Nack, one of the product managers on Photoshop. I've been lurking on the list for many months, reading with great interest the various discussions about raw capture and processing workflows, file browsing, color correction, and more. I've found ProDig to be a great community and a terrific source of insight into the real-world issues that photography pros face each day.
I'm joined in subscribing by Adobe folks including Russell Williams (Photoshop engineering, expert on automation among many other things), Adam Jerugim (Photoshop QE, app performance ninja), and others. Even if we often aren't able to address questions directly, be assured that we're reading and discussing the topics we see on the list. In case you're curious, prior to joining the Photoshop team in 2002, I spent two years as a product manager for our Web animation tool, LiveMotion. I came to that gig from AGENCY.COM New York, a Web design consultancy where I created Flash and HTML content for clients including Nike, Gucci, British Airways, and Coca-Cola. I now have a particular interest in file browsing and raw processing. Thanks for your support of Photoshop over the years, and for making ProDig happen. Please do let us know what we can do to make your work more efficient and more fun.
