David I have been using ONSPEED for about four months. Initially there were some teething troubles with the system but after a couple of weeks they appeared to sort it and provided users with a better service and more useful interface. It certainly speeds things up, in my case on average by three to five times less than my normal access times, but I only use it for researching information and in circumstances where image quality is not important. The twenty-five pounds/year fee is not steep although with a bit of luck the system will be redundant within a year if BT really is going to get all UK exchanges ADSL enabled within the next few months.
