Hi Chris,
You should be able to do it easily, type "ftp server" in the help menu and follow the instructions.
If your internet access is running through a router, yours or the one of your ISP you should deactivate the built-in Firewall in OS X, and expect some attack as I had experienced them. There is some settings to check but I didn't investigate further.
