De-lurking from across the Pond, here.

What's the most reliable means of calibrating/profiling an LCD
monitor on the WinXP platform?

I've been using an LCD panel for my Photoshop palette monitor for a
while, and just picked up a large (20") panel for the main monitor. I
didn't really bother with accurate color on the palette monitor - no
need. But my current puck/calibration system only works on CRT
monitors, so I'll be needing to upgrade before I can really put the
new monitor into full-time use.

What's the current state of the art in LCD profiling?
