Yes, just buy a new card - Swann do a three port one. In my experience, the FW ports are the first things to go, it's happened on two of my G4's now. I believe there is a reset routine if you trawl the Apple support site but new cards are so cheap - by the time you've found the documents, dug around inside the machine...
