I do and I do not hide it - hence my ability to sell the software and provide support (DSLR). I ought to add that they were one of the sponsors of the Film > Digital event that we ran in June.
I have been working with Phase One since C1 first arrived - I now have a formal relationship and I am proud to say that I have been able to make substantial input into current versions of the software - they really do listen to photographers!
To add to that, I have a relationship with several other software companies and have beta tested other RAW conversion products. For my RAW conversions, I chose to use C1 - as a photographer, it is the product that I prefer for its workflow and ultimate image quality. For manipulation, Photoshop CS has no parallel.
Ref your back, have you tried the latest 3.5 DB software which is free to download from the Phase One site (it only works with their backs)

Small observation ,do you have any commercial tie up with phase one , I only
ask because having used both C1 and Photoshop cs the photoshop version is
far better when I use my D70 .
Though admittedly I still use C1 2,5 for my phase one back ,the 3.1 software
caused my back to freeze almost continually
