Hi All
Any message to the list that starts " Apologies if this is slightly OT... means that there is doubt in the author's mind.
Every week we list mums ask that if you have a doubt you ask us first.
In this case the topic is too far removed from what is designated in the guidelines as an acceptable Prodig discussion point. It is however recognised that there are many related topics that many Prodiggers will find interesting. In these case we allow a post notifying Prodiggers of an issue and asking for discussion to be taken off list. It is also acceptable that if someone knows of an alternative forum for such a discussion - that they post a url.
May I once again repeat. If in doubt ASK FIRST. The duty list mum posts his/her address each Monday. It;'s not THAT hard to find it
Might I also ask that before whacking off a reply you check all your outstanding Prodig inbox messages. It is extremely frustrating to see x no of identical replies to a simple question - or x number of posts after a thread has been closed.
We have some very knowledgeable and very busy people on this list whose mailboxes are no doubt already overflowing. We want to keep them. It would be a pity if we lost them because of our own lack of ability to be disciplined
No offence intended towards any particular individual. I'm sure we all recognise the problem when we ourselves weren't the offending poster, Sorry Mark, it's not particularly you - it's been brewing and I just happened to pick on you.
Best

I have been updating a few keywords on Alamy this afternoon using a Mac G4
running OSX and Mozilla as the browser. Some disturbing results. Several
images just did not show so I did a full search under my name using both
Mozilla and Explorer on OS 9.2
