OK folks, the latest firmware was posted last night on the Kodak site. Version 5.1.5 This has fixed the mirror lock up and long exposure bugs inadvertently introduced in last werek's version! Naturally we in Kodak UK are very embarrased about this and hope you can forgive us. I know there are a lot of upgrades but these not only fix buigs that only come to light during use, but also introduce features requested by you guys! (such as weak noise reduction - useful for jpegs and avoiding any "painterly "effects as reported by some photographers)
If we did not do this, we would have to be like the others introduce a camera as is - live with its foibles and then replace the model more often. Thanks for your understanding.
