I have been trialing Phase One's C1 to process raw files from a Fuji S2 camera.
Both C1 and Photoshop's colour controls use two sliders for colour. One is a yellow/blue control graduated in degrees Kelvin, and the other is a magenta/green control graduated in +/- values. Both controls would be very familiar to users of a colour temperature meter. Entering the same values into both programs produces different files, the C1 result being more yellow than the PSCS version of the same file. Isn't a value in degrees Kelvin a fixed colour of light? Or are the numbers used in these programs irrelevant in absolute terms?
