Hi Mark, Ulf , If I may add a little to what Ulf has said?
Mark, Ulf is probably correct be correct, but there was a bug in an early release of C1 3.5 PC, I think version 3.5, that caused the issue you describe and I experienced it myself with PS 7. I seem to remember that the version may have been a late beta that 'escaped'. In any case it was fixed within 48 rs or so and the latest version that is downloadable should sort out your problem immediately. > Processing 1Ds files on my PC (XP Pro) in C1 I am experiencing random > and very annoying corruption of files. Can I just check how you are working? The files should autmatically be assigned a Phase One Profile for Canon, but this can be changed. Go to Workflow > Colour settings. The default profile should be Canon EOS 1Ds dayliht or similar. It is essential that you have a camera profile as the input and then select Adobe RGB (or whatever you prefer) as the output in the Process tab. In terms of shooting, Phase One's recommendation is not to shoot tethered on Mac and for very good reason. It is buggy (this is the Canon SDK, not Phase One code). For my work, I do tether on both Mac or PC with C1 Pro using my 1Ds. If the job is critical I use the PC or shoot un-wired. It is possible to install from CD (or Canon download) the Remote Capture from Canon. This allows you to tether, but does have the same issues as C1 ( based on the same SDK). It has one minor advantage though in terms of safety - it allows capture to both Flash card and Macintosh Hope this helps?
