A rainy evening question for the list.
I often order multiples of one image from the lab, reprints from wedding photos for relatives. Is there an image quality or other reason why I should not just open the folder on desktop, do a copy-paste to the new folder going to the lab, or should I open the image, 'Save As copy1' copy2' etc in photoshop? The originals are on CD or DVD so they cant deteriorate by either method, it is the 'open-save as' I am now starting to wonder about. Copy-paste is so much faster.
Yes, telling the lab eg '5 of those and 3 of those' at whatever size would be ideal, but they cant cope with that! They could cope with 50+ of the same image, funny that...
