ps Isnt 'Unsharp Mask' a wonderful feature.......

Unsharp mask is fabulous. Try this. Open a digital fresh file either with
the Raw converter or a JPG. Make a duplicate layer. Choose filters>unsharp
mask and drag the amount slider to 500 and the radius to about 60 or 80.
Looks wierd? OK get a feel for the picture in this heavy mode by sliding the
radius down or up a bit. when you think that the character of the image is
good, slide the amount down to about 50. Hey presto. The image sharpens.
Then in edit>fade unsharp mask 100% to luminosity. Some images it works a
treat on, others you can see just don't benefit.
