Hello all,

I am scanning a watercolour original using a Imacon Progression III
scanner. I am using the glass flatbed part of the scanner, and
finding that there are horizontal streaks all the way down the scan.
They are irregularly spaced and about 15 pixels wide, some bluish and
some more yellowy (even in similar colour areas). They look as if
someone has dripped pale blue or grey-yellow down the whole painting.
They show in the highlight areas and through the mid tones, though
they don't show up in the shadow areas of the scan.

Has anyone any experience with this? If so, is there a work-around?
The original cannot be scanned in another direction, by the way, as
it fits the maximum scan size of the bed.

I would appreciate any help with this.

Many thanks,

Ellie
