I bought the Apple wireless keyboard but wish I hadn't. You can't wake up the computer from sleep from the keyboard (I have to lean under the desk and press the power button), it gets through quite a few AA batteries and frequently loses communication with the G5 on startup
Odd. I use the wireless keyboard and mouse with a G4 Powerbook. I can't speak to the sleep issue since when running on mains power at my desk (which is where I use the wireless keyboard/mouse) I have the computer set to never sleep. I've never had any problems with communication loss. I do have strange battery use problems. Not with the keyboard, with the mouse. I've had these for almost a year. I don't think I've replaced keyboard batteries more than twice.. maybe only once. Yet I go through mouse batteries like candy. The odd thing is that I can put a new set of a quality brand double AA alkalines in the thing and they'll be shot within an afternoon. The mouse will also become very warm to the touch. however I can put a less powerful set of well worn NiMH rechargeables in the mouse and they'll last for maybe two or three weeks on a single charge. Go figure.
