Please reply OFF LIST direct to me, at List Mum's request.

Firstly, a huge thanks to all those who either posted replies or contacted
me by email or 'phone trying to help with my query (below.)

Unfortunately, nothing suggested worked, although my G5 now runs superbly,
having run it through virtually every maintenance package available!! <BG>

Having also posed my question on the Adobe forums, and tried several more
ideas, I'm still suffering the same problem. However, it certainly looks to
be a font-related problem. Running a 'Find' command on the system font
names fails to show them in the OSX System Folder Library, only in the OS 9
(Classic) System Folder. However, I can see them in the Finder pane. This
suggests some form of font corruption, but this hasn't been found by Font
Doctor etc.

I need to re-install the system fonts onto the G5, and also probably need to
COMPLETELY remove PS CS and re-install this.

Can anyone on Prodig tell me:

1) Is there any way I can just re-install the fonts from my OSX Panther CDs?
(If not, I presume I'll need to re-install the OS from scratch?)
2) How do I go about completely trashing PS CS (and not just the obvious
folders in the Applications directory?) I've tried the latter already, to
no effect.

Once again, please reply to me OFF LIST. This is much more of an IT
problem, but affects one of our main tools. If I find a solution I'll post
it.

My thanks in advance.
