My name is Sjoerd Jan ter Welle and I am the owner/director of a company called Imagos bv. Imagos is headquartered in The Netherlands with a daughter company in Timisoara, Romania.
Our company Imagos concentrates on the one hand on writing software solutions mainly towards companies within the imaging industry. We offer (drum)scanning, colour correcting and keywording services to our clients on the other side. The actual scanning is done in Timisoara, Romania. Our team is currently 10 people in total. We work for clients (both Royalty Free and Rights protected) within the stock- and editorial market throughout Europe. 2 sample websites made by us: http://advertising.apeiron.gr for Apeiron in Greece or www.theirishimagecollection.ie for an Irish photographer.
We create our website and image search tools using J2EE technologies such as JBOSS, BEA Weblogic and WebObjects connecting to a variety of SQL databases.
The inhouse CMS system we offer for stockimage bureaus and which covers everything from client data, address, magazines, contact persons, an image tracking system, rights management, an inhouse image database, invoicing, magazines, etc. is based on Servoy JAVA technology (see www.servoy.com).
We are hosting a Dutch photography portal as well (which we created) called PhotoQ. You can have a look at it at www.photoq.nl.

The reason I would like to participate this list is for 2 reasons: first to discuss some technical issues related to (drum)scanning and colour correction and second to be able to get feedback from people from the imaging industry about software products that we launch.
