I originally bought the Mamiya 645 for its shift lens, which at 50mm is just wide enough for most of my architectural work (although I wish it was a little wider). Given that the chip size is smaller than 6 X 4.5 on the new digital camera, my 50mm shift will become somewhat more limited as a wide angle than it is now. Of course it would be great if they announced a new wider digital shift lens when the 26mm is released, but I'm not holding my breath.
