Has anyone any idea of how this would work?
My guess is that he is suggesting you mess with your monitor until the file on screen matches the print he has sent you... This way (and assuming he has really good process control) all future jobs you put through that monitor will work for his setupbut of course FOR HIS SETUP ONLY. Kind of a closed loop setup and not very useful if you plan on using other printers..
Nick is right there, and it will only work until your printer changes something at their end, which is what happened with me and Colab (big pro-am printers in UK) two years ago. Needless to say that nobody from Colab informed me that somebody had tweaked some setting someplace. I would not do it Ellie.
