It's interesting to note that in real life there are not too many images
that use the whole Adobe RGB gamut.
Maybe it may be of more interest that the new monitors display more of the" CMYK" gamut , and therefore are far more useful for softproofing. Also when choice of monitor is being made , some manufacturers 'weld down the hood 'to stop you tinkering with the engine while others allow a little more hands on approach.Some people like the flexibility , others see it as another opportunity to break something ( this is of course not just limited to monitors , as our recent research into camera software shows! ) . All valid reasons for individual choice,
