Hi Richard, Sorry for the delayed contribution to this thread but just want to pick up on this paragraph. You really shouldn't use the computer anyway whilst using Carbon Copy Cloner. If the app is backing up your system and you are using it at the same time, thousands of changes are constantly being made - so what is the back up actually representing? I would highly recommend leaving CCC to its own devices without the machine in use, maybe overnight.
