Lucky indeed! - The Printer Man came recommended to me by John Read at Marrutt and although I've had good service, it would be great to know if there is an alternative nearer to home. Sorry for what you must view as a bum steer! - keep us posted.

Although after this time I think it unlikely that we will ever see a cheque from this guy to cover the loss of the printer...but it would be nice and of course I would be delighted to post accordingly here.....in the meantime.....
This was the final straw etc., and I wanted to rid ourselves of the forever nagging problems experienced in the past with various Epson printers suffering blockages pre-run or worse mid run of prints. We bought one of the Canon W2200 proofing printers which comes with user changeable nozzles and an optional five year on site warrantee. In over a year we have always had perfect printing from this beast, and it's pretty frugal in its consumption of ink....just a shame they are behind Epson in the introduction of archival inks. Any more news on this Nick W-B ?
