I had been lucky enough to gave a try at a prototype of the new 23" EIZO Adobe RGB colour shaped last week...
Stunning.
May I add wonderful?
A picture very much saturated (a cobalt/sapphire bird on a green background) I would trash immediately if displayed on my LaCie CRT had at least a very clean histogram. I tried also a soft proof of this picture (Eurostandard Coated v2, perceptual, black point and white paper checked) gave me also a very much convincing and print-like view than on the CRT...
I just forget to give a try to the shadow/highlight feature on a silver bunch of forks, but the shiny parts looked great.
The downside is the 5 000 euro, VAT not included is my guess... There's also a nice piece of calibrating soft.
Just stunned.
