Yes and No
If you like the best music player on the market very little will stop you :)
However as a photo back up tool I don't think the way it does it will really fit your needs.
To put photos on it you need to use iTunes (not iPhoto), therefore you need a computer.
To take images from your camera and store them you need either the Belkin iPod Media Reader (which as I have mentioned before is very slow) or the newer Belkin device which connects your camera directly to the iPod to back up.
I believe that these 2 methods are not compatible. That is if you use the Belkin device to store photos they won't show up on the iPod as displayable photos.
But hey, it is cool!!!!!
