I'm trying to transfer a couple of VHS tapes onto DVD via a Windows XP pro machine. Anyone with any experience of this, I'd appreciate any answers. This could be OT but I couldn't think of any other place to reach such a wide cross section of digital people, so replies off list unless listmum suggests otherwise.
I've tried googling this, but got inconclusive results, ranging from TV cards and external converter boxes to purpose made machines. A pal has tried it in the past but recons it takes a loooong time. Tried searching the archives and the question has been asked before, but everyone has put the same comment as me - answers off list!
