It might be worth doing a Google search and seeing if you can hack the ACR plugin by Hex Editing it. There are lots of boards with this sort of info on for other cameras and I'm sure I saw one last week that dealt with FujiFilm cameras. Just can't remember where!
Normally the Hack is as simple as Find and Replace in a text editor so shouldn't be too hard to achieve.
or as you say wait for 2.4 and see if the support is in that!!!!
