[PRODIG] Printing on to hard serfaces 1.5mm thick

I have a client who wants to print (low rez photos) onto hard plates (aprox 
3 x 5 inches)  He is currently using 3rd party printers with UVjet 
technology which works but is not overly convenient for him.  Have any of 
the manufactures developed desktop versions of UVjet machines with this 
capability?

Or faling that normal ink jet desktop printers that will cope with 1.5 to 
2mm thick hard serfaces metal or plastic minium size 3 x 5 inches (a bit 
thicker than a cd sadly so I expect the Epson 2100 will be a no no).
