Martin: For reasonably fair information, you may wish to join the StockPhoto.net list (http://www.stockphoto.net/Subscriptions.cfm). You can view the past discussions (most easily) from eScribe (http://www.escribe.com/business/stockphoto/index.html). As stockphoto is an open discussion forum you may not get much "critical" information. If you are after more comprehensive information, and are truly serious about stock, then consider joining the Stock Artists Alliance (http://www.StockArtistsAlliance.org/), the only trade organzation dedicated to protecting the rights of stock photographers. They have a database of stock distributors/agencies that covers a wide range of businesses and business models, and (most importantly) has comments from photographers that work with these distributors on how they feel they perform. There are many other benefits to membership, summarized at (http://www.stockartistsalliance.org/info/membership/benefits.htm). Hope that helps. David Creating an image database? visit (http://ControlledVocabulary.com/) and join the discussion. Version 2 of the Controlled Vocabulary Keyword Catalog (CVKC) is now available from (http://ControlledVocabulary.com/order.html) David Riecks (that's "i" before "e", but the "e" is silent) =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
