Dear All,
At the moment I do not have a card reader to transfer images from the Nikon
D70 I am proposing to purchase. Yes I know the D70 only has USB 2.0 running at 1.1 version speeds (why oh why ???).
I'd like to know what peoples experiences are of using the different card readers on the market. I mean are you using a USB 2.0 reader in preference to a firewire card reader and if so why? Isn't the firewire reader meant to be better for through put when transferring large (512mg and above) amounts of data? Or is there no real world difference between USB 2.0 and firewire.
Also are there any particular brands to avoid because of compatibility and reliability issues when used with Nikon D70?
